This project involves the construction of 10 highly energy-efficient Passivhaus social homes on the edge of a Wiltshire village for White Horse Housing Association, in partnership with a local Community Land Trust.
The development features a range of homes built to the Passivhaus standard, ensuring they provide ultra-low energy consumption through high levels of insulation, airtight construction, and high-performance windows, creating a warm, comfortable environment throughout the year.
The architectural design draws inspiration from the local vernacular, reinterpreting traditional detailing in a contemporary way, ensuring the new homes integrate into the village while providing much needed affordable and comfortable houses for the local community.
