Designed to enhance guest experience and functional use, this project comprised contemporary kitchen and dining room extensions to an existing leisure facility building on the site of an established converted farm complex providing tourist accommodation with associated facilities.

PKA worked closely with stakeholders, including the Local Planning Authority and the National Trust, to ensure the design was sensitive to its surroundings within an AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) and complemented the existing buildings traditional form and natural materiality.

The first phase of the project, which involved the kitchen extension, was completed in 2024, providing improved facilities that support both operational efficiency and the continued success of the complex.
